The “walk-through” audit is completed by TVEPA’s Residential Energy Management Representative. The representative will inspect the home, question homeowners as to their usage patterns and recommend energy saving improvements designed to lower monthly electric bills. If needed, the representative may perform a heat loss/heat gain calculation and/or an airflow and temperature measurement. This “walk through” energy audit is for TVEPA customers only and is done at no cost to the member interested in energy conservation and lowering their monthly electric usage.
The TVA Heat Pump Financing Program is available to TVEPA members who want to replace or supplement their existing heating and cooling system. A low-interest load is extended to customers who submit a credit application and are subsequently approved for financing. The heat pump is an energy-efficient heating and cooling system that can reduce electric bills considerably. Contact TVEPA for details.
New home construction consultation by TVEPA’s Residential Energy Management Representative is also available during the early stages of building an energy-efficient new home.
